Founded in 2012, Destined Kids Assistance Program (Dekap Inc. Liberia) is a feminist, grassroots, disability rights nonprofit organization dedicated to the inclusion, empowerment, and advancement of marginalized populations in Liberia, particularly women, children, and youth with disabilities.
Driven by lived experience, Dekap was established by Helena Wenneh, a passionate advocate and changemaker whose personal journey—growing up with a visually impaired mother and a physically challenged brother—inspired a lifelong commitment to justice, dignity, and equal opportunities for all.
Dekap’s mission centers on promoting disability inclusion, gender equality, and socioeconomic empowerment through community-based initiative
